In the last few months, we have been lucky enough to get on board with PHARMAC’s latest clinical trial ‘Space to Breathe’.

The Space to Breathe Programme was developed to promote appropriate use of asthma medicines and provide self-management education in order to improve health outcomes for children with asthma.  The Space to Breathe Programme is for:

• Caregivers of children aged under 5 years olf who have asthma; and
• Health practitioners who work with young children with ashthma.

Through the excellent work of local business Ministry of Done, we were involved in the design of a full set of childcare & educational facilities resources to aid in this drug trial. For health professionals, tools and resources were developed to help support and educate caregivers of children with asthma. For caregivers, a range of resources to help understand and better manage asthma were also created.
