Bettle in the Community
We believe it is important to play a role in the community.
This year we donated $10,000 to the Enderly breakfast club. This amazing group provide a safe haven and food for up to 50 children each morning.
Aaron Coffey is Property and IT Representative on the board of trustees at Maeroa Intermediate, a sports committee chairman at St Johns College and board member of Eastlink, Aaron Begbie is on the board of Lifeline, George has been on the trust boards of Hospice Waikato, The Christmas Parade and Balloons over Waikato and Simone Baird is an avid supporter of Pink Ribbon Day.
We have supported Waikato SPCA, The Nest, donated bikes to the police to patrol the river walkways, done pro bono work for Volunteer Waikato, Waikato SPCA, Midlands Hockey and Lifeline. We have also implemented an inhouse "Foodbank Friday". Each week staff donate non-perishable food to our kitty and we deliver this to the local foodbank.
Every year in conjunction with Hamilton City Council and Community Radio we also offer the Community Media Grant - $15,000 worth of advertising for a not-for-profit organisation.
